More treasures from the garden

Outside the studio and around the corner beside the tayberry patch, brilliant orange poppies wave in the breeze...

And my imagination has been tickled, bringing a new poppy collection...

Now I'm dreaming what I'll do with the roses...

And the robin's egg that fell to the grass...

Tayberries are a cross between blackberry and raspberry. They're a long, slender berry with just the right amount of sweetness and tangy flavor... my most favorite of all the berries in the garden... well, at least tied with the Cascade raspberry. Yum.

Thank you. I'll have another slice of that Tayberry pie if you please!
I love blackberries and raspberries so I know they must be good.

Can I just say I love the phrase "tayberry patch"? Thanks for sharing!

Sharyn, what beautiful images you have shared here! I came to your blog through our mutual friend, Dona Morrison... she forwarded me the link to a post on your previous blog, the one about theft. As of this morning, I am dealing with a very similar issue. sigh. Your words and the responses by your readers buoyed my spirit...

I will be back to visit your blog often, neighbor! (I'm on Camano Island)
