Blue~ summer's coolest color

Blue.

Summer's most glorious color. Blue, in a myriad of hues and tones...

The true blue of the hydrangeas by the back gate and the almost-violet hue of the ones by the front steps...

The blue of summer skies, different from any other season, more vivid somehow.

Even the bees are lost in summer's coolest color, burying themselves in the blue perfume.

Sharyn, I think the link to your blog may be out of date. When I tried to follow your blog, I got a message saying that it failed. Maybe it is a blogsite issue?
Excuse the length of my comment but I just want you to know how much of an inspiration you are to me. I have been blogging for a few months only and sometimes I wonder why I do it. When I do not get feedback I think I am silly to post when no one seems to care. I just read your posts from years past and enjoyed them so, so much. Who knows who may read mine years from now and say to themselves...I needed that. Well, I am saying out loud to you now---I needed that. Thanks for sharing who you are--God knew he could trust you with all of that talent.

Hallieoop, I don't think I've ever had such a heartwarming comment. Ever. You touched me deeply. Thank you so much for the encouragement and kind words. I am not sure about why the error message but hopefully will be able to have my IT folks fix it in the next day or two. I'm great with the graphics piece but absolutely helpless when it comes to html so someone else has to get it straight for me. Thanks for alerting me. I hope you'll follow along and I'll check in on your blog as well. We'll have to keep in touch! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your lovely message, which I will keep and re-read when I need a lift. Blessings, Sharyn

Sharyn, this post is breathtaking...I love these blue colors, and those nasturtiums in their brilliant oranges and greens! Lovely eye candy.
